Ruben Amorim, the head coach of Sporting CP, addressed the media following his team's 1-1 draw against Benfica in the Primeira Liga. Despite a contentious penalty decision that allowed Benfica to equalize in the final minutes, Amorim chose not to delve into the referee’s decisions.
Amorim remarked, "I didn’t come here to talk about the referee. My job is to focus on the team, and tonight, I believe we were the better side for most of the game."

The coach praised his players’ resilience, stating, "We dominated large portions of the game and created several opportunities. The team showed incredible determination, and that’s what matters most to me."
