Ronaldo and Neymar May Leave Saudi Clubs
Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. are entering the final year of their contracts with Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, respectively, allowing them to negotiate with other clubs.
Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese captain of Al-Nassr, and Neymar Jr., the Brazilian star of Al-Hilal, are among the top players in the Saudi Pro League who will become free agents in January.
According to the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's calendar, the winter transfer window officially begins on January 1 and runs until January 31. While major moves are unlikely during this period, preparations for the summer transfer window are expected.
Ronaldo's contract, with a market value estimated at €12 million, expires on June 30, 2025, allowing him to negotiate with other teams starting this winter. Similarly, Neymar, with a market value of €15 million, is in the same situation.
In addition to Neymar, Al-Hilal has other players whose contracts expire at the end of the current season, including Ali Al-Bulaihi, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Mohamed Kanno, and Salem Al-Dawsari.
Despite these circumstances, the 39-year-old Ronaldo is enjoying his time in Saudi Arabia. Al-Nassr is satisfied with his performance, and the commercial benefits he brings to the league are significant. There is a possibility that a major announcement this winter could be the extension of one of football's greatest players' contracts with Al-Nassr.
