Amorim Uncertain When Manchester United's Struggles Will End

Manchester United's head coach, Ruben Amorim, has admitted his uncertainty regarding the duration of the club's challenging period. This admission came after a 2-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers, marking United's fourth defeat under Amorim's leadership in the Premier League.

In the post-match press conference, Amorim stated, 'Naturally, we need to improve. Offensively, we're facing issues, but we lack time for training. We only play matches and must find better ways to secure victories under these circumstances. We shouldn't continue performing as we have in recent defeats.'

He further commented on the match, noting that United controlled the game for most periods, particularly in set-piece situations, until the sending off of captain Bruno Fernandes early in the second half. Amorim acknowledged that playing with ten men in the Premier League is exceedingly difficult and emphasized the need to prevent such occurrences in the future.

When questioned about the exclusion of Marcus Rashford from the squad, Amorim suggested that observers could draw their own conclusions based on Rashford's absence. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, regardless of winning or losing, and expressed his commitment to maintaining his approach.

Regarding the timeline for overcoming Manchester United's current struggles, Amorim candidly admitted, 'I don't know; I have no opinion.'
