Laporta Overhauls Barcelona's Management

Joan Laporta, President of FC Barcelona, has overseen a massive overhaul in the club's management, with more than 20 executives and managers either dismissed or resigned under his leadership in the past four years.

This management turmoil has led to operational challenges, including Barcelona's recent failure to register contracts for players Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor before the deadline.

Laporta's decision-making has drawn criticism for being last-minute and overly reliant on close associates rather than experienced professionals. Major deals, such as those with Spotify and Nike, were finalized without full disclosure and involved intermediary Darren Dein, who received significant compensation.

On the field, Barcelona's performance has been inconsistent. The team has fallen to third in La Liga, winning only two of their last eight matches and suffering three consecutive home defeats at Montjuïc Stadium. Manager Hansi Flick faces increasing pressure due to injuries and underwhelming performances from key players, including Dani Olmo.

Despite these issues, fans remain focused on the team's scoring ability. However, the current trajectory raises concerns that without addressing both administrative and on-field challenges, further difficulties could be imminent.
