Notably, he turned down an approach from West Ham United, who were seeking a replacement following a series of underwhelming results under their current management.
Allegri's decision to reject these offers stems from his desire to commence a new project from its inception. He prefers not to inherit a team mid-season, aiming instead to build and develop a squad according to his vision and methodology.
