Bellingham: 'Ancelotti Helped Me Regain My Peak Form'
Jude Bellingham, the English midfielder for Real Madrid, credits coach Carlo Ancelotti for restoring his peak performance through strategic freedom on the field.
Following Real Madrid's 3-2 victory over Atalanta in the Champions League, midfielder Jude Bellingham expressed his satisfaction with his current form, attributing it to the guidance of coach Carlo Ancelotti. In an interview with CBS Sports, Bellingham remarked, 'When I can play with freedom, I'm at my best. Meetings with Carlo Ancelotti helped me regain that freedom.'
Reflecting on his goal during the match, Bellingham humorously noted, 'I didn't know where the shot would go. I thought it might bounce back and hit me, making everyone laugh at me. But it worked out well.' He emphasized his desire to contribute through goals and assists, stating, 'I always want to impact the game by scoring and assisting, but it's important to perform all my duties well.'
Addressing the team's ambition in the Champions League, Bellingham expressed his eagerness to replicate past successes: 'We won last season, but I'm eager to achieve this again and win the trophy for the club multiple times.'
Bellingham also acknowledged the team's potential for growth, stating, 'I think we still have many levels to reach. The key is to identify and address the factors that could cause our decline.'
