In a remarkable display of attacking football, Fiorentina overwhelmed Austrian side LASK with a 7-0 triumph at the Stadio Artemio Franchi during the fifth week of the UEFA Conference League. This emphatic victory places Fiorentina second in their group, trailing only Chelsea.
Under the guidance of coach Raffaele Palladino, Fiorentina initiated the match with relentless pressure. Although Moise Kean's early goal was disallowed by VAR, Riccardo Sottil opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Jonathan Ikoné doubled the lead in the 22nd minute, and Amir Richardson added a third just before halftime.
