Marc Casado: 'When I'm Confused, I Pass the Ball to Pedri'
Barcelona's young midfielder Marc Casado expresses his admiration for teammate Pedri, highlighting the confidence and security he feels when playing alongside the Spanish international.
In a recent UEFA Champions League match, Barcelona secured a 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund, bringing them closer to qualifying for the Round of 16. One of the standout performers was young midfielder Marc Casado, who excelled in ball recovery and distribution.
Reflecting on the match, Casado stated: "We knew it would be a challenging game on their turf, especially after they equalized twice, which boosted their morale. The second half was intense, but we capitalized on our opportunities and secured the three points, moving us closer to qualification."
Addressing the team's recent domestic form, he added: "Our recent La Liga matches haven't gone as planned, but we're performing well in the Champions League. In the first half, we controlled possession, and in the second, we were more effective. Despite their equalizers, the team responded well. Now it's time to get back to winning ways in La Liga."
Casado also praised his teammate Pedri, saying: "Pedri is a world-class player. Whenever I'm in doubt, I pass the ball to him. Playing alongside him gives me confidence and peace of mind."
