Andres Iniesta, who had previously announced his retirement, officially concluded his distinguished football career with an emotional farewell in Tokyo. Participating in a nostalgic El Clasico match featuring former stars of Real Madrid and Barcelona, Iniesta wore Barcelona's iconic jersey and captained the team one last time. The match, attended by 45,000 fans, ended with a 2-1 victory for Barcelona.
Iniesta shared the field with former teammates and friends, including Xavi Hernandez, Rivaldo, Rafa Marquez, and Javier Saviola. Following the final whistle, the stadium announcer declared this as Iniesta's last appearance as a player.
