Former French Midfielder Urges Pogba: Don't Return to England

Dimitri Payet, the former French international, has urged Paul Pogba to join Marseille instead of returning to England. With Pogba's doping ban reduced from four years to 18 months, he is set to return to football in March. However, his next club remains undecided.

Following Juventus's decision to terminate his contract, Pogba is now a free agent. Several European clubs, including Premier League teams like Manchester City, are reportedly monitoring his situation.

In an interview with beIN Sports, Payet stated: "Like all Marseille fans, I dream of his return. Whether it's realistic or not is another matter. I've played with Pogba in the French national team and know him well. He has a good relationship with former Marseille players and is familiar with the club's environment. Returning to Marseille could be beneficial for both him and the club; I believe it's the best decision."
