Luis Enrique: 'It's Your Problem If You Don't Understand Me!'
Paris Saint-Germain's head coach, Luis Enrique, declined to elaborate on the exclusion of forward Randal Kolo Muani from the squad against Lyon, asserting that the decision was self-explanatory.
Following Paris Saint-Germain's 3-1 victory over Olympique Lyonnais, head coach Luis Enrique addressed the media, expressing satisfaction with his team's performance. When questioned about the absence of forward Randal Kolo Muani from the matchday squad, Enrique tersely responded, 'I can only select 20 players.' Pressed for further clarification, he retorted, 'I know I don't speak French, but I can't be clearer than this in Spanish. If someone doesn't understand, that's not my problem.'
Enrique praised his team's attacking display, stating, 'The players execute everything themselves; the coach doesn't step onto the field. It also depends on the game and the opponent. We try to exploit open spaces. Usually, opponents defend deep against us, which always makes scoring difficult.'
Regarding Gonçalo Ramos's condition, Enrique commented, 'I think since recovering from injury, he's contributed significantly to the team. Today, he played a few high-level minutes, and in previous games, he played more. It depends on the plan I have for the team. The more players return to their best form, the better.'
