Ricardo Sa Pinto Urges Raja Casablanca Fans: 'It's Not a Disaster!'
Following Raja Casablanca's defeat in the CAF Champions League, coach Ricardo Sa Pinto calls on fans to remain supportive, emphasizing that the situation is not disastrous.
Ricardo Sa Pinto, head coach of Raja Casablanca, addressed the club's supporters after their 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League. He urged fans to avoid despair and to continue backing the team, stating, "A disaster hasn't occurred. We have three home games ahead in Morocco, and by winning them, we can secure 9 points and advance."
Sa Pinto acknowledged the team's current struggles, noting, "I'm not satisfied with this situation, and throughout my coaching career, I haven't experienced such circumstances. Everything seems to be against us, even luck. We create numerous opportunities but fail to score, while conceding goals due to childish mistakes."
He also hinted at internal issues within the squad, saying, "There are conditions in Raja's locker room that I don't like at all, and this must change." Despite these challenges, Sa Pinto remains optimistic, calling on fans to stand by the team: "I'm aware of the fans' anger, but I ask them to support the team. We need to rise quickly and move forward."
