Tottenham's South Korean Prodigy Yang Min-hyeok Arrives Early in London
Eighteen-year-old South Korean winger Yang Min-hyeok has arrived in London ahead of schedule to join Tottenham Hotspur, aiming to acclimate and train with the team before his official contract begins in January.
Yang Min-hyeok, the 18-year-old South Korean winger, has arrived in London earlier than planned to commence training with Tottenham Hotspur. Initially scheduled to join the club in January 2025, Yang's arrival has been expedited to mid-December, allowing him to acclimate to his new environment and integrate with the squad ahead of schedule.
Before departing from Seoul's Incheon International Airport, Yang expressed his excitement about the opportunity to play alongside Tottenham's captain and fellow South Korean, Son Heung-min. He stated, "I am excited to be joining the club. It would be an honour to play with Son and I would be grateful for that opportunity."
Yang has had an impressive season with Gangwon FC, recording 12 goals and six assists in 38 matches. His early arrival is expected to provide him with valuable time to adapt to the Premier League's demands and develop chemistry with his new teammates.
Tottenham's manager, Ange Postecoglou, known for his familiarity with Asian football, is anticipated to integrate Yang into the squad gradually, ensuring a smooth transition for the young talent.
