In the final match of Serie A's sixteenth week, Inter Milan delivered a commanding performance against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico, leading 5-0 as the game approached its conclusion.

The Nerazzurri opened the scoring in the 41st minute with a penalty converted by Hakan Çalhanoğlu. Just before halftime, Federico Dimarco doubled the lead, assisted by Denzel Dumfries.

Early in the second half, Inter maintained their relentless pressure, resulting in a third goal scored in spectacular fashion by Nicolò Barella.

Five minutes into the second half, following a swift counter-attack, Çalhanoğlu passed the ball to Barella. The Italian midfielder, from approximately 25 meters out, unleashed a powerful shot beyond the reach of Lazio's goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel, bringing the score to 3-0.

Notably, this goal bore a striking resemblance to Barella's earlier goal against Albania during Euro 2024, where he showcased his exceptional ability to score from long range.

With this goal, Barella once again demonstrated his proficiency in striking from outside the penalty area, reinforcing his reputation for scoring remarkable goals.
