Vinicius Jr Criticized for Behavior: 'He Was Poorly Raised'
Spanish journalist Jose Maria Garcia criticized Vinicius Jr for his behavior, calling him undisciplined and accusing Real Madrid of enabling his actions.
Vinicius Jr, the Brazilian star of Real Madrid, has once again come under fire in Spain following his controversial behavior during the match against Rayo Vallecano. Veteran Spanish journalist Jose Maria Garcia delivered scathing criticism of Vinicius, labeling him as 'impolite, complaining, and whiny'.
Garcia stated, “If Vinicius didn’t play for Real Madrid, he wouldn’t be able to finish any match because of his disruptive conduct. His actions are harming him, and he keeps damaging himself every day.”
The journalist emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable for a club of Real Madrid's stature. He pointed to the contrast between Vinicius and his teammate Rodrygo, whom he described as “polite, well-behaved, and disciplined.”
Garcia also criticized Real Madrid’s management for enabling Vinicius’s behavior. “Vinicius is his own worst enemy. Even the club president is indirectly contributing to this issue. It’s unfortunate that Vinicius wasn’t raised properly.”
He further argued that Vinicius should have been sent off during the match against Rayo Vallecano. “No one is questioning his football abilities. He is undoubtedly talented, but behavior matters just as much.”
When asked about Vinicius’s response to racist abuse, Garcia advised, “There are other ways to protest and show dissatisfaction. Is it unfair? Absolutely. But claiming that Spain is a racist country is an ignorant accusation that doesn’t solve anything.”
Vinicius Jr continues to be a polarizing figure, with debates around his conduct and handling of off-field issues persisting despite his immense talent on the pitch.
