According to FIFA, voting was split into four categories: national team coaches, captains, journalists, and fans. Each group contributed to the final scores that determined the winner.

The results were as follows: Vinicius Jr earned 48 points, Rodri secured 43 points, and Jude Bellingham finished with 37 points.

Interestingly, national team coaches leaned towards Rodri, awarding him 461 points, slightly ahead of Vinicius with 438 points. However, national team captains overwhelmingly supported Vinicius, giving him 617 points compared to Rodri’s 373 points and Bellingham’s 164 points.
