Juventus Fans Apologize to Vlahovic with Emotional Banner
Juventus ultras displayed a banner outside Allianz Stadium to reconcile with Dusan Vlahovic after tensions during their recent Serie A match.
Following the recent controversy between Juventus fans and Dusan Vlahovic, the club's ultras displayed a banner outside the Allianz Stadium to express their reconciliation with the Serbian striker.
The incident occurred after Juventus’ 2-2 draw against Venezia last weekend, which marked their fourth consecutive draw in Serie A. Frustrated fans jeered the team as players left the pitch, leading to a heated exchange between Vlahovic and some ultras. The situation escalated further when reports emerged that Vlahovic had been threatened during the confrontation.
In an effort to make amends, the group of ultras released a statement on their Instagram page, acknowledging the conflict and announcing the installation of the banner. Due to stadium regulations, the banner could not be displayed inside the Allianz Stadium.
The banner read: “The past mistake does not erase everything. You have always had our respect. Juventus, DV9 (Vlahovic), and the ultras remain united until the end.”
This public apology reflects an attempt to ease tensions ahead of Juventus' match against Cagliari. Vlahovic, who had converted a crucial penalty in the dying moments of the Venezia match, remains a key figure in Juventus’ attack this season, despite the ongoing pressure.
With this gesture, Juventus fans hope to rebuild their relationship with Vlahovic and inspire the team to return to winning ways in the Serie A title race.
