Ansu Fati’s Holiday Grind to Impress Hansi Flick
Ansu Fati skips holiday relaxation to follow a rigorous training program aimed at regaining top form and earning a place in Hansi Flick's plans.
Ansu Fati has traded holiday leisure for a demanding training regimen as he strives to return to peak performance and secure a spot in Hansi Flick's lineup. His customized pre-season started on Monday at the Joan Gamper training camp and includes additional solo sessions on Friday and Saturday.
Fati's commitment has been well-received by Flick and Barcelona's sporting director Deco, reflecting his determination to overcome recent challenges. After a difficult loan spell at Brighton and recurring injuries, including a foot injury that disrupted his pre-season and a muscular issue in November, Fati is keen to prove his readiness.
Having received medical clearance last week, Fati chose not to feature against Atletico Madrid but is now pushing himself physically to be prepared for crucial upcoming fixtures, including the Copa del Rey clash against Barbastro on January 4 and the Spanish Super Cup on January 8.
His efforts underline a clear objective: to align with Flick's vision and regain his place as a key player for Barcelona.
