Seko Kane, an 18-year-old talent from Mali, shares his excitement about joining Manchester United's youth ranks and his aspirations to follow in the footsteps of club legends like Cristiano Ronaldo.
Seko Kane, an 18-year-old midfielder from Mali, recently joined Manchester United's youth academy from Guidars FC. Expressing his enthusiasm, Kane stated, "When you receive an offer from Manchester United, you can't refuse it." He aims to emulate the success of former United youth players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford, and Kobbie Mainoo.
Kane remarked, "I didn't initially expect to sign with Manchester United. When the offer came, I was extremely excited. United is a massive club in world football, and I'm just happy with this choice that allows me to climb the ladder." He added, "United has numerous titles and knows how to recognize good opportunities. They made a significant offer for a kid, even though I had everything to prove. Honestly, you can't turn down Manchester United's offer."
He continued, "I've always told myself this was a heartfelt choice because I've loved Manchester United since I was a child. I understand concerns about my short-term future, but I'm not worried at all. Many youngsters like Ronaldo, Rashford, and recently Mainoo have progressed here. The new coach, Rúben Amorim, appreciates beautiful play and likes young players. I just have to work very hard and seize my opportunity."
