Christian Pulisic, the American winger for AC Milan, has encountered a setback after his recent return from a calf injury. Pulisic was expected to feature in the crucial match against AS Roma, but a last-minute ankle injury has ruled him out of the game.

Pulisic sustained the initial calf injury during Milan's 2-1 loss to Atalanta in early December, where he was forced to leave the field. Head coach Paulo Fonseca confirmed the development, expressing disappointment over Pulisic's unavailability. He stated, "We were counting on Christian for this important match, but unfortunately, he experienced discomfort in his ankle over the past two days, leading to his exclusion from the squad."
