Paulo Fonseca Confirms Dismissal from AC Milan
Following a 1-1 draw against AS Roma, AC Milan's head coach, Paulo Fonseca, has confirmed his dismissal from the club.
After a 1-1 draw with AS Roma at San Siro, Paulo Fonseca confirmed his departure from AC Milan.
Pre-match reports suggested that Milan's management was considering his dismissal if results did not improve.
Upon leaving the stadium, Fonseca stated: 'It's true. I have been dismissed by Milan. That's life. I'm at peace because I did everything I could for this team.'
Fonseca took over from Stefano Pioli in July, following an extensive selection process.
During his tenure, he achieved 12 wins, six draws, and six losses across all competitions.
Reports indicate that Sérgio Conceição is the leading candidate to succeed him, with expectations for Conceição to debut against Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana semifinal on January 3rd in Riyadh.
