Arteta: Liverpool Won't Win Every Match
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta emphasizes that the Premier League title race is still open, expressing confidence that Liverpool will drop points in upcoming matches.
Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has stated that the Premier League title race is far from over, despite Liverpool's current lead. He believes that with consistent performance, Arsenal can capitalize on any potential slip-ups by Liverpool.
In a recent press conference, Arteta commented on Liverpool's form: "If someone wins all their games until the end of the season, we have to congratulate them and move to the next season. But if they don't, which has happened many times in history, we will be there to catch them."
Arteta also highlighted the importance of maintaining squad health and consistency: "We must continue our stability. What we've shown this season, if we had done last season with numerous games playing with ten men and consecutive injuries, it would have been difficult to stay in the title race until the last day. Certainly, we've taken a step forward, and the team is progressing."
Looking ahead, Arsenal faces Brentford in their next fixture. Arteta acknowledged the challenge: "Brentford is a good team with an excellent home record. They've improved compared to last season and adapted to new conditions. I'm truly impressed by their performance this season."
As the season progresses, Arteta remains optimistic about Arsenal's chances, emphasizing the unpredictable nature of football and the potential for shifts in the title race.
