Mourinho Criticizes Fenerbahce Players After Disappointing Draw
Following a 1-1 draw against Eyupspor, Jose Mourinho expressed deep disappointment in his Fenerbahce squad, emphasizing the need for greater effort and adaptation to challenging conditions.
Fenerbahce's recent 1-1 draw with Eyupspor has left head coach Jose Mourinho openly critical of his team's performance. Describing the match as a 'disaster,' Mourinho highlighted numerous technical errors and a lack of quality play. He stated, 'This was a poor display from us.'
Mourinho, whose team now trails Galatasaray by five points despite having played an additional game, called for his players to increase their efforts and adapt to the unique challenges of Turkish football. He remarked, 'Some aspects in Turkey are difficult... Newcomers must also get used to this situation. It's unfortunate.'
Emphasizing the club's commitment to providing optimal conditions, Mourinho expressed frustration over the unsatisfactory results, asserting that the players must work harder. Looking ahead, he indicated that the upcoming break until their next match on January 5 will involve intensive training sessions, stating, 'We will work hard during the second part of this two-week break.'
