Mudryk Seeks Refuge with Compatriot: Weight Training in Portugal
Facing a doping scandal, Mykhailo Mudryk has left London for Portugal to train alongside his fellow Ukrainian and former Shakhtar Donetsk teammate, Anatoliy Trubin.
Mykhailo Mudryk, currently embroiled in a significant doping controversy, has departed London for Portugal to maintain his physical fitness. He has joined forces with his compatriot and former Shakhtar Donetsk teammate, Anatoliy Trubin, who now plays for Benfica.
Trubin, like Mudryk, was a standout at Shakhtar before transferring to Benfica. The Chelsea winger, finding limited support in London amid the doping allegations, has sought solace and training opportunities alongside Trubin in Portugal.
Upon arrival, Mudryk received a warm welcome from Trubin, which helped him feel at home immediately. He wasted no time and headed straight to the gym to commence his training regimen.
Images shared by Mudryk feature not only Trubin but also other Benfica stars such as Antonio Silva and Tomas Araujo, who extended a cordial reception to the Ukrainian winger.
