Bayern's Pavlović: 'We'll Do Everything to Reach the Champions League Final at Home'
Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović expresses his determination to lead the team to the UEFA Champions League final, set to be held at their home ground, Allianz Arena, in 2025.
Aleksandar Pavlović, who advanced from Bayern Munich's academy to the first team last year, has firmly established himself in German football. His impressive performances in 2024 earned him a spot in the national team.
Reflecting on working under coach Vincent Kompany, Pavlović remarked, 'He is an excellent coach for us players because he has experienced almost every situation as a player himself. Especially when you're injured, he talks to you a lot and makes you feel like you're still part of the team.'
With the UEFA Champions League final scheduled at Bayern's home stadium, Allianz Arena, in 2025, Pavlović shared his excitement: 'Hosting the final at home is incredible, and we will do everything we can to reach and win it. But there's still a long way to go. Victories against Paris Saint-Germain and Shakhtar were very important.'
Reflecting on his achievements in 2024, Pavlović added, 'This year has been truly exciting. I'm very happy to have recovered quickly from my injury and to be playing again. I'm very grateful for 2024.'
