Solskaer Plans to Implement United's Project at Besiktas

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the new head coach of Besiktas, discussed his ambitions for the club in his first press conference since taking charge. Drawing on his experiences at Manchester United, Solskjaer outlined his vision to implement a similar project at Besiktas, focusing on building a successful and disciplined team over time.

In the press conference, Solskjaer explained: "I had many offers, but when I was living a good life in Norway, I needed a challenge that would be worth leaving my normal life behind. Istanbul is an incredible city, and I couldn’t turn down the opportunity. If I had, I would have regretted it sooner than I imagined."

Solskjaer went on to compare his plans for Besiktas with his work at Manchester United, noting the club's gradual progress. He said, "At United, we finished sixth in our first year, but we took it step by step. We aim to win at Besiktas and stop the negative trend, but we must also remain realistic about the journey ahead."

Regarding his relationship with former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, Solskjaer stated, "I haven’t spoken to him yet. Mourinho is a great coach with an impressive career, and we have a lot of respect for him. Of course, I look forward to meeting him again soon."

With Solskjaer's proven track record at Manchester United and his clear vision for Besiktas, the Turkish club is set to embark on an exciting new chapter. Fans and analysts alike are eager to see how Solskjaer's approach will shape Besiktas into a dominant force in Turkish football.
