In an impressive display, Borussia Dortmund secured a 3-1 victory against Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena, thanks to a rapid succession of goals within six minutes during the first half.
The match began with Dortmund applying early pressure, resulting in several missed opportunities. Their persistence paid off in the 25th minute when Donyell Malen headed in a corner from Ramy Bensebaini, opening the scoring.
Just three minutes later, Maximilian Beier doubled the lead, finishing a precise pass from Julian Brandt. The attacking onslaught continued, and by the 30th minute, Brandt himself found the net with a swift shot, assisted by Beier, bringing the score to 3-0.
Wolfsburg responded in the second half, reducing the deficit in the 58th minute when Denis Vavro headed in a corner from Maximilian Arnold. The home side's momentum was further bolstered after Dortmund's Pascal Groß received a red card in the 62nd minute for a foul on Lukas Nmecha.
Despite being down to ten men, Dortmund's defense held firm, preventing Wolfsburg from capitalizing on their numerical advantage. This victory elevates Borussia Dortmund to sixth place in the Bundesliga, now with 25 points.
