Mourinho Seeks to Revitalize Joao Felix with Fenerbahce Loan Move
Jose Mourinho is reportedly aiming to secure a loan deal for Portuguese forward Joao Felix to Fenerbahce, offering him regular playing time away from Chelsea.
Portuguese forward Joao Felix, who joined Chelsea last summer for €52 million, has struggled for consistent playing time under manager Enzo Maresca. He has started only two of Chelsea's nine Premier League matches, remaining on the bench in five. In response, Jose Mourinho, currently managing Fenerbahce, is reportedly keen to bring Felix to Turkey on loan during the January transfer window. Mourinho views Felix as a key addition to close the gap with league leaders Galatasaray. Although Fenerbahce had been linked with Anderson Talisca, Mourinho prefers investing in Felix, despite his higher wage demands. The decision now rests with Felix, who must choose between limited opportunities at Chelsea or regular first-team football in the Turkish league.
