Barcelona Targets Brazilian Defender Caio Henrique for Loan Move

Barcelona is reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Caio Henrique, the Brazilian left-back from Monaco, on a loan deal. This move is part of the club’s efforts to fill positions left vacant after the departures of Joao Cancelo and Marcos Alonso last summer.

At 27 years old, Henrique offers valuable experience and versatility, being able to play as a central defender or midfielder. He could serve as an ideal complement to Barcelona's 21-year-old left-back Alejandro Balde. Henrique, who began his career at Santos and holds a Spanish passport, has attracted the attention of Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, who values his adaptability and technical abilities.

According to sources, Henrique is keen on leaving Monaco in January, feeling that he has reached his peak with the French club. Monaco’s sporting director, Thiago Scuro, is reportedly open to facilitating this transfer.
