Alexander Isak’s Hat-Trick Sends Warning to Haaland

Alexander Isak, the Swedish forward for Newcastle, delivered a stunning performance in their 4-0 victory against Ipswich Town. His hat-trick in the match brought his total Premier League goals this season to 10, just three behind top scorer Erling Haaland.
Isak wasted no time, scoring in the first minute after capitalizing on a defensive lapse. The striker added his second goal just before halftime, converting a low cross from Bruno Guimaraes, and sealed his hat-trick in the 54th minute with a composed finish.
Isak’s feat marked the first hat-trick by a Newcastle player since Ayoze Perez in 2019. He also became the second Swedish player in Premier League history, after Fredrik Ljungberg, to achieve this milestone.
The Premier League top scorer chart now sees Haaland and Mohamed Salah leading with 13 goals, followed by Cole Palmer with 11, and Isak climbing to third with 10. With his current form, Isak has firmly placed himself as a contender for the Golden Boot race.
