Rivaldo: Mbappé Will Reach His Peak at Real Madrid
Former Barcelona star Rivaldo believes Kylian Mbappé will soon become a standout player for Real Madrid, asserting that the French forward is poised to reach his peak performance with the club.
Despite a relatively slow start for Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid, former Barcelona star Rivaldo is confident that Mbappé will soon emerge as a key player for the club. In an interview with Sport, Rivaldo stated, "Mbappé had a tough start, but I've always said he will become a successful player, a scorer, and a prominent figure at Real Madrid." He added, "He has the talent to become the best player in the world and is playing at the best club globally in terms of titles and history. His adaptation requires time, but I'm sure he will be a key player and a strong candidate for the Ballon d'Or in the future."
Rivaldo also commented on Vinícius Júnior winning FIFA's Best Player award, saying, "He deserved this award for his performance in 2024. You must respect anyone who achieves this. What disappointed me was knowing that over 60 people didn't place Vinícius among the top three players. That's truly disappointing. Vinícius had an incredible year, performing exceptionally well in both La Liga and the Champions League, and in my opinion, he deserved to win the Ballon d'Or as well."
