Despite this achievement, Zenden believes that Vinicius's on-field conduct may hinder his prospects of winning the Ballon d'Or. He stated, 'Vinicius is undoubtedly a player with exceptional qualities, but certain behaviors during matches, like feigning injuries or attempting to win unmerited penalties, do not aid his cause.'
