Jürgen Klopp, celebrated for his managerial successes with Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool, has officially embarked on his new journey as the Global Head of Soccer for Red Bull GmbH. Klopp, who began his role on January 1, 2025, is tasked with overseeing Red Bull's expansive network of football clubs worldwide.

Making his first public appearance in this capacity, Klopp attended an ice hockey match between EHC Red Bull Munich and Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven at the SAP Garden in Munich. The match, which ended in a 1-1 draw before Munich's eventual loss in overtime, saw Klopp among 10,000 spectators. Dressed in a white turtleneck and sporting a Red Bull-branded cap, Klopp seemed at ease, signaling the start of his strategic leadership role.

Klopp's responsibilities extend beyond the pitch. As Global Head of Soccer, he will work closely with sports directors to ensure the development and implementation of the Red Bull philosophy across their football clubs. His focus includes scouting emerging talent, enhancing training methods, and fostering a cohesive strategy across clubs like RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, and RB Bragantino. Additionally, Red Bull's growing portfolio now encompasses partnerships with Atlético Madrid, Torino FC, and Paris FC.
