Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, the 35-year-old Cameroonian forward, has officially joined New York Red Bulls on a two-year contract. This move adds another star to the growing roster of elite players in Major League Soccer.

Choupo-Moting played for Bayern Munich from 2020 to 2023, appearing in 88 matches and scoring 19 goals. Prior to Bayern, he showcased his talents at Paris Saint-Germain, Stoke City, Schalke, Mainz, and Hamburg. Notably, he contributed 20 goals in 74 matches during his time at Mainz, which remains a highlight of his club career.

Internationally, Choupo-Moting has been a key player for the Cameroon national team, earning 73 caps and scoring 20 goals since 2010. His versatility and experience make him a valuable addition to the Red Bulls, who reached the MLS Cup Final last season but fell short against LA Galaxy.

The striker's contract with New York Red Bulls extends through 2026, as the team aims to build on their recent success and claim the coveted MLS Cup.
