Union Berlin Dismisses Head Coach Bo Svensson After Poor Run

Union Berlin has officially announced the dismissal of head coach Bo Svensson and his coaching staff after a string of poor performances. The team has been winless for over two months, losing five of their last seven Bundesliga matches, and currently sits 12th in the league with 17 points from 15 games.

Managing Director Horst Heldt stated, "After a thorough analysis of the season so far, we are convinced that a significant change is necessary to reverse the trend." The club plans to announce a new coaching team by January 2, with preparations for the second half of the season set to commence on that date. Union Berlin's next fixture is an away match against Heidenheim on January 11.
