PSG Plans to Replace Gianluigi Donnarumma with Marco Carnesecchi

According to reports from Corriere della Sera, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is planning to sell goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the upcoming summer transfer window. Despite having 18 months remaining on his contract, Donnarumma's tenure in Paris appears to be nearing its end.

PSG's head coach, Luis Enrique, has reportedly expressed a desire to replace Donnarumma and has set his sights on another Italian goalkeeper, Marco Carnesecchi of Atalanta. The 24-year-old Carnesecchi has been impressive this season, contributing significantly to Atalanta's unexpected position at the top of Serie A.

Negotiations between PSG and Atalanta are expected to commence in January, with the French club aiming to secure Carnesecchi's services ahead of the 2025-2026 season. This strategic move underscores PSG's commitment to strengthening their squad as they continue to pursue domestic and European success.
