Ancelotti Expresses Sympathy for Fonseca After Milan Departure

Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, has expressed his sympathy towards Paulo Fonseca following his recent departure from AC Milan. Speaking during his holiday visit to Italy, Ancelotti highlighted the inherent challenges of the coaching profession.

In an interview with Rai Radio 1, Ancelotti stated, "I still believe that being dismissed is part of a coach's job. I've been dismissed thousands of times. When there are problems in a team, the responsibility falls on one person. Unfortunately, that's how it is. A coach stands alone in his work, especially during difficult times."

Addressing Fonseca's situation, he added, "We can discuss it, but in the end, the result is that the coach is dismissed; it's a sad moment for a coach. Fonseca knows that when you're in this job, it can happen. They say when one door closes, another window opens. We coaches feel bad when someone is dismissed, but we overcome it."
