Spalletti Highlights Italy's Strength in Attack

Luciano Spalletti, the head coach of the Italian national football team, has expressed his satisfaction with the emergence of exceptional forwards in Italian football, highlighting their crucial role in the team's future success.

In an interview with Sky, Spalletti stated, "The center forward position has always been one of the most important in football. The main striker is the one who delivers results. I am very pleased with the current state of Italian football in producing top-tier forwards."

He specifically praised Mateo Retegui, noting, "Look at Retegui. He has the potential to compete with the best strikers in the world. Observing him these days, he has become a complete classic striker in the penalty area. Of course, there is room for improvement, and he needs to enhance his coordination with the team."

Spalletti also mentioned Moise Kean, stating, "Kean has been brilliant as well. The maturity I see in him these days makes me hopeful for the future of our national team's attack."

Regarding the injured Edoardo Bove, Spalletti commented, "I haven't spoken with Bove, but the head coach and managers of the under-21 national team have visited him. I don't want to discuss a future we don't know much about yet, but Bove is an exceptional young man in every way. He has been under our observation in the senior national team for some time. I hope he continues his recovery so we can see him back in training."
