Saudi Arabia Prepares for Fourth Gulf Cup Triumph

The Saudi national football team continued their training sessions in Riyadh as they gear up for the 26th edition of the Gulf Cup, set to take place in Kuwait. Under the guidance of head coach Herve Renard, the players focused on ball retention drills, shooting practice, and recovery exercises during today’s session at Al Shabab Club’s facilities.

Notable returns to group training included Firas Al-Buraikan and Hassan Tambakti, both of whom had recently completed their recovery processes. However, Abdullah Al-Khaibari continued individual workouts under medical supervision, while Ali Al-Bulayhi and Sultan Al-Ghannam missed the session due to muscular pain and illness, respectively.

Saudi Arabia, with a rich history in the tournament, has previously clinched the Gulf Cup title in 1994, 2002, and 2003. As the team aims for a fourth championship, they are scheduled for a closed-door training session tomorrow to finalize their preparations.
