Rodrygo revealed his initial fear regarding the goal: "There was some excitement because Jude Bellingham moved in front of the goalkeeper, and I worried the goal might be disallowed. But thankfully, it stood, and I am thrilled to have contributed to this victory."
Reflecting on the match, Rodrygo added, "Winning another trophy for this incredible team is always special. Vinícius is in great form, and having him alongside is amazing. We are a fantastic team, and this victory shows what we are capable of."
