Vinícius Junior Vows to Win Over Critics After Victory

Vinícius Junior, the Brazilian forward of Real Madrid, expressed his determination to win over those who doubt him after his team’s 3-0 victory over Pachuca in the Intercontinental Cup. This marked Real Madrid's second trophy of the season, following their UEFA Super Cup win in August.

Vinícius, who scored one of the goals in the final, said, "I am very happy with today's match and yesterday's award ceremony. Last season, I achieved great success, but it’s not just my victory; it belongs to my teammates, the coach, and everyone in the club who supports us."

On the opening goal, he explained, "The first goal was a great play. My connection with Jude Bellingham allowed me to bypass the goalkeeper. I could have scored myself, but Kylian Mbappé was in a better position, so I passed to him. I hope we can continue this way because when we all contribute, we usually win."

Vinícius also praised Carlo Ancelotti for his leadership, stating, "Our coach gives everything he has for us, and he truly deserves this success."
