Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, pledged to keep the club's fans happy after their resounding 3-0 victory over Pachuca in the 2024 Intercontinental Cup. The final, held at Lusail Stadium in Qatar, showcased stellar performances from Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Junior, securing Real Madrid's ninth title in this competition.
In an interview with Real Madrid TV, Perez said, "I am very satisfied and happy. This is a world championship, and it's the ninth time we've won it. It's a beautiful trophy that we were eager to claim."
He added, "Achieving such records is difficult, but we will continue to fight for more titles. We've started the season with two trophies, and we aim to win La Liga, the Champions League, and other competitions."
Reflecting on the club's success, Perez emphasized, "Having a great team is the key. Over the years, we've focused on building a strong squad, which has brought us many trophies. Our ambition to win more remains as strong as ever."
