Saudi Clubs Target Marcus Rashford for Summer Move
Several Saudi clubs, including Al Hilal and Al Ittihad, have expressed interest in signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
Marcus Rashford, the star forward of Manchester United, has become a top target for multiple Saudi Pro League clubs, according to reports from the English newspaper 'The Telegraph'. Clubs such as Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, Al Nassr, and Al Ahli are reportedly preparing bids for the 27-year-old English striker for the summer transfer window.
The Saudi Pro League sees Rashford as a player who can significantly enhance the league's quality and global appeal. However, the move is expected to be postponed until the summer, as it will not be executed during the January transfer window.
Manchester United has reportedly set Rashford’s transfer fee between £40 million and £50 million. Currently earning an annual salary of £17 million, Rashford is the fifth-highest-paid player in the Premier League, trailing behind stars like Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah, and Casemiro.
In a recent interview, Rashford hinted at his openness to new challenges, stating that he is considering leaving Old Trafford. He has also expressed a preference for playing in Spain, naming clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona as potential destinations, though these clubs have yet to make an official approach.
This speculation follows Rashford’s absence from Manchester United’s recent derby victory over Manchester City, fueling rumors about his future with the club.
