Kieran Tierney, who began his career at Celtic's academy, joined Arsenal in the summer transfer window of 2019. Last month, Tierney overcame his hamstring injury and returned to Arsenal's bench. He even started in the recent Carabao Cup match against Crystal Palace but had to leave the field due to discomfort. According to reports, Arsenal's management has not offered Tierney a contract extension, indicating a lack of interest in continuing the partnership. With his contract set to expire at the end of the current season, it is anticipated that Tierney will depart the Emirates Stadium after six years. There are rumors of interest from Celtic in re-signing him, but the player's final decision remains uncertain.
