Mijatovic Retracts Criticism, Hails Ancelotti as Real Madrid's Best Coach
Former Real Madrid player and director Predrag Mijatovic has retracted his earlier criticism of Carlo Ancelotti, now praising him as the best coach in the club's history following their Intercontinental Cup victory.
Predrag Mijatovic, who previously suggested that Real Madrid should seek a coach superior to Carlo Ancelotti, has reversed his stance after the team's recent Intercontinental Cup triumph. Mijatovic, who played for Real Madrid from 1996 to 1999 and served as the club's director of football from 2006 to 2009, now regards Ancelotti as the best coach in the club's history.
In a recent interview, Mijatovic stated, 'First of all, I must congratulate Ancelotti; it's a significant achievement that he is the coach with the most titles in the world's best club.' He added, 'For me, he is undoubtedly the best coach in history. With his character, the way he manages stars, and the titles he has won, he is a very complete coach, and Real Madrid will find it difficult to find someone similar.'
This change of heart comes after Mijatovic had previously criticized Ancelotti, claiming that the team was slipping from his control. However, following Real Madrid's recent successes, including the Intercontinental Cup victory, Mijatovic has acknowledged Ancelotti's exceptional leadership and contributions to the club's ongoing achievements.
