Amorim Denies Rashford Disciplinary Issues

Ruben Amorim, head coach of Manchester United, dismissed recent rumors about Marcus Rashford being dropped due to disciplinary issues. Rashford’s exclusion from the squad for the Manchester City game sparked speculation about a fallout with the coaching staff.
Speaking in a press conference before United’s match against Bournemouth, Amorim clarified, “Rashford’s absence is not related to any disciplinary concerns. He remains a vital part of the team, and we fully support him.”
Amorim also provided updates on Mason Mount, stating, “His recovery will take several weeks, but this is part of football, and we have to adapt and move forward.”
Commenting on the team’s progress, Amorim expressed satisfaction with United’s improved pressing and physical performance. “We are creating more danger near the opponent’s box, and our understanding of the game is evolving,” he added.
Regarding Antony, Amorim noted, “He needs more confidence in one-on-one situations, but he’s working hard and improving. I’ll support him to become a better player.”
