Xavi Hernandez, former head coach of Barcelona, highlighted the exceptional talents of Lamine Yamal, Marc Cubarsi, and Fermin Lopez, describing them as some of the best footballers currently emerging from La Masia.
In a recent interview, Xavi reflected on his managerial and playing career while addressing the current state of Barcelona. He stated, “Lamine Yamal consistently amazes me with his skill and maturity on the field. Players like Cubarsi and Fermin Lopez also demonstrate the unparalleled quality that Barcelona’s academy is known for.”
When asked about his favorite player in the Premier League, Xavi was quick to name Kevin De Bruyne, citing the Manchester City midfielder's exceptional vision and control as characteristics he admires.
Xavi, who was replaced by Hansi Flick in June 2024, remains closely connected to the club and hinted at a potential return to top-tier European football amid speculation linking him to AC Milan.
